I have written an article in today's Kannadaprabha about the much talked about Mining issue in the State of late. I have advocated the need of framing a national policy which would give the issue a lasting solution. Pls read and offer your comments

It is true that the mining should be considered as a national issue and should be tackled without any party bias. Otherwise political parties indulge in mud slinging at each other and the solution to the problem can never be found out.
But one thing I would like to bring to your kind notice. Mining has become a debatable issue because of the BJP. Had Janardhana Reddy not made an allegation of bribery against the then chief minister HD Kumaraswamy this mining controversy would not have cropped up and would not have taken such ugly dimensions. However, in a way it was good also. Had he not raised the issue four year ago the illegal mining would not have been exposed.
ನಿಜ,ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಿಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೇ ಆದರೆ ಈಗಿನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಒಂದು ಜ್ವಲಂತ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿದೆ,ನೀವು ಆಡಳಿತ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಚಿವರಾಗಿ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಆ, ಗಣಿಗಾರಿಕೆ ರ್ಟಿಕಲ್ ಬರೆದಿರುವುದು ತುಂಬ ಸಂತೊಷದ ವಿಷಯ ನೀವು ಕಾನೂನು ಸಚಿವರಾಗಿ ಈ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಗಣಿಗಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಾವು ಯಾವುದೆ ಪಕ್ಷ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ಮಾಡದೆ ಈ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಲು ಮಹತ್ಠರವಾದ ಪಾತ್ರವಹಿಸಬೆಕೇಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಆಶಯ.
ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಸಂಪತ್ಠನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಮಹಾನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯ.............
